Can I book a child seat?
👶✨ Travelling with little ones? We’ve got you covered!
- Adding a Child Seat When Booking
Many of our providers give you the option to add a child seat right at the time of booking. If it’s available, you’ll see the choice clearly displayed along with any fees that may apply.
- Availability Across Fleets
In some areas, our fleets can supply baby and booster seats that meet local safety standards. Please note that availability and quality may vary, and in some cases, a small supplement might apply.
- Fitting the Seat
For safety reasons, our drivers aren’t permitted to fit child seats. Parents or careers will need to secure the seat themselves.
- Our Recommendation
Whenever possible, we suggest bringing your own baby or booster seat. This way, you’ll know it meets your safety expectations and your child will be comfortable in a seat you’re familiar with.
- Booking a Seat
If the option to add a baby or booster seat appears during booking—great! Simply select it then. If you don’t see the option, just drop us a message at support@hoppa.com, and we’ll be happy to check availability and let you know about any extra charges.
- If You Need a Different Seat Type
If your child requires a different seat size (for example, a booster instead of an infant seat), contact us with your booking reference and your child’s age or height. We will send a request to the transfer provider, as availability varies by destination. In many areas, child seats are mandatory for children under 135 cm, while older or taller children may not require one. You may also bring your own seat if you prefer.
